Okay, so I don't come bearing free stuff yet, but I found something special. Just because I can.
Free YA Audio books (and classic lit). The catch is, you have to sync them given the time period allotted. The plus is, you can then continually listen to them whenever. (Note: You'll have to download Over Drive Media which is free software to download - link on download page at site).
So, what can you check out this week?
Goodreads Synopsis: Galen is the prince of
the Syrena, sent to land to find a girl he's heard can communicate with
fish. Emma is on vacation at the beach. When she runs into
Galen—literally, ouch!—both teens sense a connection. But it
will take several encounters, including a deadly one with a shark, for
Galen to be convinced of Emma's gifts. Now, if he can only convince Emma
that she holds the key to his kingdom...
Here's a sound clip preview.
And for the literary snob in us all?
Goodreads Synopsis: Prospero - a magician on
an enchanted island - punishes his enemies, brings happiness to his
daughter, and comes to terms with human use of supernatural power. The
Tempest embodies both seemingly timeless romance and the historically
specific moment in which Europe begins to explore and conquer the New
World.

Perfect for those pile-of-dishes-that-I-don't-want-to-do-because-I'd-rather-read-a-book days. Which is pretty much every day for me.
Thanks for sharing!! I totally forgot this starts this week!
